UPDATE

The Jasper Municipal Water Department announces that water service has been restored on MacArthur St, including 610 W 9^th and 706 W 9^th St.

A Boil Water Advisory is not in effect.  There are no potential health effects.

If your water has discoloration, run the cold water tap for 15-20 minutes, or until it clears.

Notification of Planned Water Outage  

Due to the water main tie-in on MacArthur St, the Jasper Municipal Water Department will be turning off the water service, weather permitting, on Friday, October 31^st, for a small portion of the city from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

The area affected will be MacArthur St between W 9^th and W 13^th Streets, including 610 W 9^th St and 706 W 9^th St. 

After the work is complete, you may experience discolored water and/or air in your service line.  To correct this problem, run your cold water tap for 15-20 minutes, or until it clears.
