                                                                                    Annual Gas Leak Survey 

The Jasper Municipal Gas Department will be conducting their annual gas leak survey beginning Tuesday, October 14^th.  Personnel will be checking meters on the outside of homes and businesses and will have their city employee identification with them. 

This year’s survey will primarily be in the south part of the city, which starts on the southside of 6^th St to Kluemper Rd and then west of Kluemper Rd before proceeding east towards the Whoderville area, which includes Weisheit Dr.  The survey work continues from Weisheit Dr. to 2315 E State Road 164 and extends to the E. State Road 162 Bypass.

Testing could take 3-4 weeks to complete.  

The survey is mandated by both State & Federal laws and includes the testing of high pressure feeder mains.
