Boil Alert for Third Ave, from SR 164 to Staat Strasse, Giesler Road to Dodge Street and all on Plymouth St.
Due to a water main break, the Jasper Municipal Water Department is issuing a boil advisory affecting a very small part of the city. The area affected consists of Third Ave. from SR 164 to Staat Strasse, Giesler Rd. to Dodge St., and all residences on Plymouth St. This is the only area affected. We will keep you informed when the boil advisory is lifted. The boil advisory will last a minimum of 48 hours or until 2 consecutive water samples pass our testing. Residents affected are asked to boil their water for 5 minutes before human & pet consumption. The water is safe for bathing.
