Water Services Restored-Boil Advisory in Effect
The Jasper Municipal Water Department advises the water service has been restored for water customers on East 14th St, between Leopold and Royal Streets.
A precautionary boil advisory is in effect. The boil advisory will last a minimum of 48 hours or until 2 consecutive water samples pass our testing. Personnel will place door hangers at the affected residences and businesses, and they will be notified again once the advisory has been lifted.
Water customers affected are asked to boil their water for 5 minutes before human and pet consumption. The water is safe for bathing.

Notification of Planned Water Outage
Tuesday, June 30th – East 14th St
The Jasper Municipal Water Department will turn off water service, weather permitting, on Tuesday, June 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This outage will affect 12 water customers on East 14th Street between Leopold and Royal Streets. Personnel will place door hangers at affected residences and businesses. The outage is related to the water main tie-in on Leopold Street.
After the work is complete, you may experience discolored water and/or air in your service line. To correct this problem, run your cold water tap for 15-20 minutes, or until it clears. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
