Story of Dubois County Agriculture
Event Description:
Enjoy an evening of conversation about local farming history with regional family and agricultural historian, Lee Bilderback.
The discussion will feature how farming evolved from the Scots-Irish of the pioneer days, how southern farming influenced our region, the rich traditions of German Settlers in Dubois County, and the modernization and Latin influence of diverse farming today.
This program is presented as part of the Indiana Humanities “Crossroads: Change in Rural America.”
Workshop will be held at the Dubois County Museum. Located at 2704 Newton Street, Jasper.
