Festive holiday decorations
Friends of the Arts, a local arts support organization, is hosting a Holiday Home Tour on November 22, 2009 where dozens of holiday trees, wreaths, center pieces and other decorations will be auctioned. A peony plate, representing the state flower of Indiana, was presented to award winners.
The City of Jasper was recently awarded the prestigious Governor's Art Award for its city-wide support of the arts. Jasper is the only two-time winner in the entire history of the award.
