Developing Your Artistic Confidence
Six weeks, Thursdays, 2/14 - 3/21, 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.
Beginning Adult classes
This course sets out to improve the foundation of your art making (drawing and sketching). During the course, we'll discuss how artists visualize their subject matter, and how even the most challenging things can be broken down into easy, manageable pieces. We'll be doing a variety of exercises and projects that will help show you how to take the creative ideas in your head and put them on paper. If you enjoy drawing, but fear you never made it past a childhood level, or just want to improve your drawings, this course will be great for you.
Six weeks, Saturdays, 2/16 - 3/23, 10:00 a.m. - noon
Enjoy a class allowing you to approach photography as an art form rather than your everyday photography skills. We will manipulate photos using the Elements computer program. Participants will need to bring a laptop and have their own camera with a general working knowledge of it.
