Lenny Dowhie & Darryl Halbrooks Exhibit

February 1 - 26

The Krempp Gallery at the Jasper Arts Center is pleased to present the works of ceramic artist Lenny Dowhie & mixed media artist Darryl Halbrooks during the month of February.

Lenny Dowhie, a former University of Southern Indiana ceramics professor, taught for 33 years and was chair of USI's Art Department before retiring in 2011. His artwork focuses on 3-dimensional pieces made out of clay.

Darryl Halbrooks, artist, writer, and Professor Emeritus at Eastern Kentucky University, works in numerous mediums. The selected artwork in this show has no particular meaning. Of his work, Halbrooks said "They are merely wall decorations based on my interest in color, surface, transparency and unusual materials."

The Krempp Gallery, located in the Jasper Arts Center, is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, until 7:00 pm on Thursdays, and from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm on Sundays.
